Board Member of the Year - Boys & Girls Clubs of America - Edinburg

We are proud to announce that our very own South Regional President, George Cardenas, has received the Boys & Girls Clubs of America "Board Member of the Year" Award for his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment as President of the Board for the Edinburg chapter.
Throughout George's tenure with Vantage Bank, he has consistently demonstrated the highest qualities and abilities required for effective non-profit board governance.

Throughout his tenure at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg, he has showcased remarkable strategic thinking, a deep understanding of financial management, and the ability to navigate complex decision-making processes. He has consistently contributed valuable insights and has shown a strong commitment to achieving our organizational goals. George played a crucial role in successfully achieving record breaking numbers and exceeding the “Steak in Your Community” signature gala's fundraising goal number by 43%.

He is a leader and is always up for any challenge.
George is deeply committed to philanthropy and community development. He has actively participated in several local initiatives, demonstrating his dedication to social responsibility and making a positive impact on our Club. George’s experience in working with the Boys & Girls Club and understanding of the challenges they faced during a transitioning period has been transformational.
