Harlingen State of the City Address

On Friday March 18th, Vantage Bank participated as a sponsor of a table of 8 for the Rotary Club of Harlingen Mayor’s State of the City Annual Address. It was a great event with roughly 500 people in attendance. The Rotary Club raised money for local charities and causes by selling 29 table sponsorships to local businesses and community partners. Both Lloyd Molina and I attended and represented the Vantage Bank Brownsville Market and four of our clients joined us at our table. The City of Harlingen had another 25 tables that they filled with city employees and leaders, county and state officials. Mayor Boswell provided a great update on the city of Harlingen’s accomplishments and plans for growth. While Harlingen has not grown at the rate of the upper valley and Brownsville, they are making strides and have a great growth plan.
