Jeff Sinnott
President and Chief Executive Officer | Vantage Bank
Jeff Sinnott serves as President and Chief Executive Officer and is a member of the Board of Directors of Vantage Bank. He joined Vantage Bank in 2018 as Chief Operations, Technology and ERM Officer where he led a complete overhaul of the bank’s operations and technology divisions, emphasizing an enhanced, omni-channel customer experience.
Mr. Sinnott has been in the commercial banking and technology fields for the past 25 years, focusing on innovation and transformation. He began his career in Charlotte, NC as a software engineer working on the Model Banking Program at Bank of America. He has since overseen large-scale technology and operations initiatives at numerous banks and spent a portion of his career leading global software initiatives in the consumer goods industry, focusing on product design, development and deployment. Some of the major firms where Mr. Sinnott led these initiatives include PepsiCo, Heinz, Walmart, and Danone. He returned to banking in 2003 when he joined Summit Bank, N.A. as their Chief Information Officer. In 2007, Sinnott joined Southwest Bank in Fort Worth as Chief Operations Officer where, along with the Operations and Technology divisions, he led the Treasury Management sales team. Jeff brought his expertise to Vantage Bank in the fall of 2018 and, in a short period of time, has made an extraordinary impact on the way the bank delivers products and services to our customers.
Mr. Sinnott graduated from Texas A&M University in 1994, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analysis/Management Information Systems. He also graduated with honors from the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado in 2006.
Mr. Sinnott is active in the banking community and has served on the Tarrant County Bankers Association Board of Directors and the Business Digital Banking Product Advisory Board at Digital Insight and Intuit. He currently serves on the Texas Bankers Association Board of Directors.
Mary Campos
Chief Experience Officer
My role is to facilitate improvements with customer and employee experiences in an effort to make Vantage Bank the most remarkable community bank for the markets we serve.
I have over 25 years of banking experience leading departments in customer experience, digital banking, operations, and compliance.
The State of Texas is such a beautiful place to call home and each of the markets we serve are beautiful in their own way. What is common across the board is how amazing the people of Texas are, wherever you find them.
I am a board member for the TBA Foundation Board. I am also involved in a mentorship program with the Young Women's Leadership Academy.
I love spending time in the Hill Country with my family and friends, visiting wineries, shopping, and appreciating and supporting local business owners and artists. I love golfing and traveling with my husband and getting to know the city, art, and food among all the locals.
George Cardenas
Regional President
My role at the bank is Regional President for the South Texas Market. My main duties are to support my team to provide commercial loans to our clients to help them grow and become financially successful.
I worked for City National Bank for 5 years in various areas including the note department and mail room. I was hired at Inter National Bank as a credit analyst and moved my way up to Chief Lending Officer. I was named the Regional President for South Texas when Inter National Bank became part of Vantage Bank.
I love giving back to the community and helping those that are less fortunate. I'm all about giving back and supporting those who need the help.

Joel Castaneda
Chief Risk Officer
I serve as the Chief Risk Officer for Vantage Bank and am responsible for Enterprise Risk programs, Compliance, and Internal Audit. I support the strategic direction of Vantage Bank by ensuring we have processes to identify, measure, and monitor our risk positions to maintain safe and sound banking operations.
I have been in banking and/or risk management related roles since 2007. Prior to joining Vantage Bank, I was a Risk Management Director within the Enterprise Risk and Compliance Office at USAA where I specialized in operational risk management. In this role, I conducted independent risk oversight of various operational risk disciplines and functional areas for USAA Federal Savings Bank. I began my career in risk management at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) as an Associate National Bank Examiner performing safety and soundness examinations of community banks.
I love the outdoor activities, the amazing food and arts, and the community feel.
I previously served as President of the Rio Grande Valley Chapter of the Risk Management Association (RMA), as well as on the Advisory Board for Operational Risk/Enterprise Risk Management for the RMA Texas Chapter.
I enjoy outdoor activities at the many parks and trails in San Antonio as well as spending time with my wife and dog.

My role is to assist in San Antonio's market growth of deposits, loans, and treasury management.
I have 21 years of banking experience.
The business community of San Antonio and it's neighboring hill country is very devoted and compassionate. There are strong business connections within the community that go back generations and it has fostered an intimately familiar marketplace where there is truly a feeling of community and trustworthiness.

Jay Leal
Chief Information Officer
My primary responsibility as Chief Information Officer is to protect our customers from anything that could harm access to their financial accounts. We work hard to safeguard bank systems from hackers and thieves, but we also design systems to ensure customers have reliable access to their funds around the clock.
The Texas Bankers Association appointed me to their Technology Committee in 2016 and later as committee chair in 2018. I am a member of TBA’s Future of Banking Task Force which focuses on technology strategic planning for Texas banks. I was a founding member and director of the Rio Grande Valley Chapter of InfraGard. InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and members of the private sector for the cybersecurity protection of critical U.S. infrastructure.
The Rio Grande Valley is a wonderful place to live and work. I love the people, the culture, and of course, the food of the Valley. People in the Valley are so generous and welcoming. I am proud to be from the Valley and I’m excited for its continued growth.
I am past-president and director of the McAllen South Rotary Club. In my presidential year, the club was recognized with multiple honors including the Rotary International Presidential Citation as one of the best Rotary Clubs in the world. I am past president of the Hidalgo-Starr Chapter of the Texas Exes University of Texas at Austin alumni association. I co-chaired the South Texas College Technology Industry Partnership program and participated in the inaugural Great Conversations Mentorship Program with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
I enjoy live Texas music and BBQ. Photography is a growing passion for me. I love taking portraits of family and friends. Of course, my favorite thing in the world is spending time with my beautiful wife and my energetic son.
Phil Lesh
Chief Financial Officer
I oversee the accounting and finance areas of the bank, focusing on reducing financial risks, compliance with accounting and legal standards, and ensuring the accurate generation of financial information.
I am an experienced Community Bank CFO, with over 30 years of experience in Financial Planning, Analysis, and Controllership across the financial services industry. I'm accountable for the development of multi-billion dollar financial budgets and allocation of resources to exceed profit and sales goals. I have proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a strong desire to exceed expectations.
I love operating in growing markets across the state of Texas.
I actively participate in various San Antonio Community Service activities including Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, and other community outreach programs.
The majority of my time outside of work is spent with family and doing various projects around the house. Also, I enjoy spending time with extended family at our farm in East Texas. Finally, golf is my primary hobby with friends and family.
Shawn Main
Chief Business Architect Officer
I lead a cross-functional team that builds amazing experiences for our customers and employees.
I have over 22 years in the financial services industry, spanning everything from deposit operations to IT.
I love the free-thinking attitude and entrepreneurial spirit of the people of Texas.
I am the North Chamber CIO Breakfast Chair, as well as a North Chamber Tech Council Member. I am also a Grey Forest Community Volunteer.
I enjoy camping, hiking, and doing just about anything outdoors. I love jeeping, going off-road, and going on road trips with my wife and dogs. I love traveling and seeing new places, trying new foods, and learning about other cultures.
Robert Molloy
Regional President
Robert Molloy is the Regional President of the North Texas Market (Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex) at Vantage Bank.
Mr. Molloy joined Vantage Bank in 2019 and is the Regional President of the North Texas Market (Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex). Prior to joining Vantage Bank, he led SouthWest Bank in Fort Worth. He is a respected member of the Fort Worth business community with a banking and banking leadership career spanning 33 years.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Texas A&M University.
Mr. Molloy serves as a Board Member for YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth Endowment and Downtown Fort Worth Inc. He previously served as the Chairman of the Board for YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth.
Gayle Sorley
Treasury Sales and Service Director
I lead a multi-market team of Treasury Management Sales and Service staff responsible for onboarding TM products and services, as well as generating TM revenue by working closely with TM operation staff, Lenders, Relationship Managers, and Retail Banking Center personnel. Additionally, I work with clients and prospects to identify solutions to support their needs.
I have been in the banking industry for over 26 years. Prior to joining Vantage Bank in 2018, I led the Treasury Management team at Southwest Bank for over 10 years.
I love the communities we serve and the sense of community that each of them have.
I am active in the community and have served on the Board of Directors for Tarrant County Bankers Association and Association for Financial Professionals. I am also an active member and serve regularly at my local church.
I enjoy gardening, taking my pups for walks, and spending time with family and friends.
Randy Talley
Chief Credit Officer
Randy is currently serving as the Chief Credit Officer of Vantage Bank. In this position, he is responsible for the management and strategic direction of the credit department, appraisal group, loan review team, and special asset division. He is a tenured credit officer with over 20 years of operational, sales, credit, and risk experience in banking and corporate lending. Prior to joining Vantage Bank, Randy was the Chief Credit Officer at Southwest Bank in Fort Worth, Texas. His corporate experience includes senior management and executive positions at Equify Financial, Equify Real Estate, F&M Bank Corp and General Electric Capital Corporation.
Randy holds an undergraduate Business Degree from the University of North Texas.
Patty Terry
Chief Administrative Officer
I have the pleasure of working with many teams who support our customers and employees: Facilities, Marketing, Legal, Security, and Administration. The latest addition to my team is the Retail Segment. I am very happy to now work with a team who is the face of Vantage Bank to our customers on a daily basis.
I have worked in the financial services industry for 44 years, with 30+ years spent in finance and accounting at two coast-to-coast, national banks. I have held the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer. These past 11 years working at Vantage Bank in a community banking setting, have been the most rewarding of my career.
While San Antonio is my home base, I consider my "community" to be the state of Texas and Northern Mexico. I love the culture and the pride our residents take in their traditions and customs.
Through the years, my volunteer efforts have focused on those who cannot always help themselves, children and the elderly. Until COVID struck, I volunteered at Meals on Wheels for many years. My favorite project was working with the Child Life Department at a local Children's Hospital, visiting sick children as the hospital's mascot. I also support the efforts of organizations who rescue and defend abused children.
Travel is my passion, as I believe it gives me the opportunity to learn about and connect with so many people and cultures. I have always said that I can be ready to travel in 30 minutes, no matter where I am headed. My bags are minutes away from being packed at all times!!!
Eric Thompson

I feel I have the best role at the bank. My role is all about supporting Vantage Bank and the wonderful associates we have working across the state.
I have worked in banking for 20+ years. Most of that time has been helping associates in a number of ways, including coaching the skills they need to be successful in their role.
I have grown up in the Fort Worth-Arlington community. I love that it is a big city with a small town feel. There is literally something for everyone here.
A lot of my time is spent serving and helping out at my church. I have also been facilitating a course at the Christian Woman's Job Corp of Arlington for the past 8 years.
When I am not at work, I spend most of my time with my family. During the school year, my kids are active in sports. This means a lot of my time is helping them out with practice or taking them to games. During the summers, we are always looking for a new "Thompson First".
Mary Lou Vicencio
Chief Operations Officer
As the Chief Operations Officer, I lead the backroom operations for our bank. My role is to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of our organization. We support our clients/community by committing to timely delivery of products and services, and ensuring the adherence to policies, procedures, and Federal regulations in providing these services.
I have been in banking for 25 years, and served in an Operations capacity for about 11 years for two different banks, including Vantage Bank. I have, over the course of my career, worked in many capacities in the operational areas for 3 different banks and also have years of experience in bank system conversions.
I love the culture and the diversity. I love to be part of the growth that we, as a community bank, contribute to in the various markets we serve.
I spend most of my time with my 3-year-old little girl, and when she gives me a break (which is rare), I am either reading, going for a run, or going for a quick trip to the gym.

James (Jim) W. Collins is the Chairman and Director of the VBT Financial Corporation and its subsidiary, Vantage Bank Texas. He is General Partner of Rioco Partners, LTD., a property management and real estate development company. He also serves as President of Mayfair Properties, LLC. Mr. Collins is a Director for several organizations including Alta Canada, Petroleum Solutions, R & H Food Services, South Texas GMC, Texas Business Hall of Fame, and the Rio Grande Valley Business PAC.
Mr. Collins earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He and his wife, Kathy, have five children.
Mr. Collins is the Co-Trustee for the Ely Unitrust for the Rio Grande Children’s Home, the Manager and Director for the James W. Collins Family Foundation and the Manager, Director and Treasurer for the Loring Cook Foundation.
Rafael (Rafa) G. Garza
Executive Vice Chair | Vantage Bank
Rafael (Rafa) G. Garza serves as Executive Vice Chairman of the Board of VBT Financial Corporation and its subsidiary, Vantage Bank Texas. He is a Founder and was Managing Director of Bravo Equity Partners, a private equity firm based in Fort Worth, Texas focused on providing capital to middle-market companies in the US and Mexico. Mr. Garza was involved in Bravo’s portfolio companies in the banking and financial services, retail, food and educational services sectors.
Prior to founding Bravo, Mr. Garza served as Country Manager and Director of Ernst & Young’s Mexico City-based Corporate Finance Practice. Mr. Garza has also worked with Ernst & Young clients in U.S. and Mexico including forming and leading a Dallas based team which specialized in corporate finance, financial advisory and mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Garza’s experience includes over 30 years of advising a significant number of U.S. and Mexico based companies with capital and strategic initiatives including corporate finance transactions, buyouts, recapitalizations and assisting high-growth companies.
Mr. Garza serves on the Board of Directors of Atmos Energy Corporation, the largest non-integrated natural gas utility in the United States and member of S&P 500. He serves in the Audit and Governance Committees.
Mr. Garza was born and raised in McAllen, Texas. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration; Accounting from Texas Christian University. Mr. Garza is fluent in Spanish.
Mr. Garza’s community involvement includes serving as trustee of Texas Christian University, where he is also Chairman of the Investment Committee and member of the Fiscal Affairs and Audit Committees. Mr. Garza serves as Trustee and President of the Board of the Fort Worth Art Association (Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth) and Trustee of the Fort Worth Art Association Endowment Foundation. He also serves as Trustee of Baylor Scott & White Holdings, the largest non-profit health care network in Texas including 50 hospitals and other related health care entities.

Vannie Cook Collins
President | C-M Ranches
As Director at Vantage Bank, Vannie Cook Collins helps set the strategic direction for the bank and help to facilitate everyone's success.
Mr. Collins is Vice President of Agribusiness at Rioco and President of C-M Ranches where he manages farm and ranch properties statewide for the companies. Prior to his tenure at Rioco, he worked as an analyst with Pasadera Capital and partnered with the firm to form El Prado Acquisitions, LLC, a direct investment company. El Prado Acquisitions concentrated in Texas-based companies.
Mr. Collins graduated from Trinity University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
Mr. Collins serves on the Board of Visitors of Trinity University. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Texas Wildlife Association.
James (Will) William Collins Jr.
CEO | Merit Commercial Real Estate
James (Will) William Collins Jr. is a Director of VBT Financial Corporation and its subsidiary, Vantage Bank Texas. He is the Founder and CEO of Merit Commercial Real Estate, a full service commercial real estate firm serving Central and South Texas.
Mr. Collins has served in various capacities of leadership, management and transactional work in the real estate and finance industries over the past 15 years. His experience includes investing, developing and managing more than 1,500,000 square feet and $500 million in commercial real estate assets. In addition, he is experienced in landlord and tenant representation and private equity investments.
Active in community affairs, Mr. Collins also serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for St. Luke’s Episcopal School in San Antonio, Director of the Texas Business Hall of Fame and Founder and past Chairman of the Friends for Hope Children’s Cancer Foundation.
Michael Kiolbassa
President | Kiolbassa Provision Company
Since 1999, Michael Kiolbassa has been the President of Kiolbassa Provision Company. After a short career as an analyst in banking, Michael started at the company as a Plant Manager in 1987. By 1989, he had moved into the sales department where he began to focus on developing the Kiolbassa brand and marketing the company. Under his leadership, Kiolbassa Provision Company has become the number one selling premium smoked sausage brand in Texas and one of the fastest growing smoked meat brands in the country and is distributed in all 50 states, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Michael and the Kiolbassa Family have been recognized by the Texas Historical Commission as a Texas Business Treasure.
Mr. Kiolbassa is a native of San Antonio. He graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 1980 and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 1984.
Robert (Rob) McClane
Client Advisor | Luther King Capital Management
Since 1999, Robert (Rob) McClane has operated his business ventures as President of Norris Robert McClane International, LLC, a Texas Liability Company.
Mr. McClane is a Client Advisor at Luther King Capital Management. He has an extensive background in entrepreneurial business ventures. Prior to joining Luther King Capital Management, Mr. McClane was the Managing Director and Client Advisor at Avalon Advisors. Before Avalon, he was the Director of True North, LLC, a full-service recruiting and executive search firm in San Antonio. From 2008-2010, he was an investor and Chief Operating Officer of a military moving and storage company, Rockey’s Moving, LLC. In 2005, he was the Director of Business Development and Chief Operating Officer for the law firm of Loeffler Tuggey Pauerstein Rosenthall, LLP until 2008. Fluent in Spanish, Mr. McClane, dba McClane International, founded an international project management and consulting firm in Monterrey, N.L. Mexico, in 1997.

Robert (Bob) Morehead
President | Rioco Partners, Ltd.
Robert (Bob) Morehead holds various executive management positions, including President, and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of multiple entities controlled by Mayfair Properties and Rioco. In those capacities, Mr. Morehead manages real estate investments, real estate development, property management, real estate brokerage, private equity investments, and venture capital investment activities. Additionally he oversees accounting, financial reporting, and lending activities for those entities.
He currently sits on the Board of Directors of South Texas GMC, South Texas Financial Services and Mayfair Private Trust Company. He is an Advisory Director for Petroleum Solutions, Edwards Abstract & Title and JBWW-MG. In the past, he has served as a Director of Medina Bankshares, Inc., and as President & CEO of CTM Credit Union.
Mr. Morehead holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas-RGV.
Mr. Morehead is active in the St. John’s Episcopal Church community, Good Samaritan Community Services organization, the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, along with several civic boards and committees. In the past, he also served on the Vannie E. Cook, Jr. Cancer Center.
Tyler Stone
Chief Investment Officer | Rioco Partners, Ltd.
Tyler Stone is currently the Chief Investment Officer for Mayfair Private Trust Company and Rioco Partners, Ltd. where he oversees the private equity portfolio investments of the firm including sourcing, structuring, oversight, and disposition of the investments. Mr. Stone joined Mayfair in 2012 after working in Deloitte’s Transaction Advisory practice in Dallas, primarily providing business valuation and bankruptcy/reorganization services. In addition, he manages commercial real estate projects and beneficiary communications.
Mr. Stone has an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is also a graduate of the Leadership McAllen Class XXXIII.
Mr. Stone currently lives in McAllen with his wife and 3 children.
Mr. Stone grew up in San Antonio and has been very involved in his community organizations, currently or previously sitting on the boards of organizations such as the United Way of South Texas, the Museum of South Texas History, C.A.M.P. University, and Rio Grande Regional Hospital.
William C. (Bill) Wilson
Banking Professional, Retired
Bill Wilson is an experienced leader in the banking industry, having managed Commercial, Business Banking, Retail, Special Assets, Real Estate, and Small Business Administration business segments throughout his career. Before retiring from Texas Capital Bank in September 2020, Wilson served 3 years as Executive Managing Director of several business units in Austin and as President and then Chairman of the Houston Region for 8 years. Prior to joining Texas Capital Bank, Wilson served as the Central Texas Region President for Wachovia Bank from 2004 to 2009. Based in Austin, Wilson was responsible for Wachovia’s operations in Austin and San Antonio. In total, Wilson has more than 40 years of banking experience, including 20 years with Bank of America and its predecessor banks. He graduated from Texas Military Institute in San Antonio and obtained a BBA degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
Mr. Wilson is a native of Lockhart, Texas. He currently resides near Fredericksburg with his wife and has three children and five grandchildren.
During his banking career, Mr. Wilson served on the boards of numerous civic and community organizations. Previous board experience includes the Texas Bankers Association, St. David's Community Health Foundation (Austin) and Boy Scouts of America, Capitol Area Council. A long time supporter of Texas Wildlife Association, Wilson currently serves as an Emeritus Director.

Caroline Collins Badouh
Advisory Director
Caroline Collins Badouh is a part of the Advisory Board. She loves how the board gathers together to come up with issues of strategic importance and how they provide support and guidance for the achievement of the team's mission statement.
Mrs. Badouh experience is learned and comes from her family history. She has learned since she was a young child about different elements of banking and finance that have always been a part of her family environment.
